Our Award-Winning Buffalo Chicken Chili Recipe
Our Salesgenie sales department recently had a chili cook off. Adam Traylor was announced the overall winner and today, we’re sharing his chili recipe with YOU! We hope you enjoy it.
Buffalo Chicken Chili
- Vegetable oil- 1/2 cup
- Yellow onion diced- 1cup
- Celery diced- 1cup
- Red pepper diced- 1cup
- Fresh garlic minced- 3 tbsps.
- Cumin- 1tbsp.
- Chili powder- 1 tbsp.
- Oregano- 1 tbsp.
- Flour- 1/2 cup
- Water hot- 1/4 gallon
- Chicken Base- 2 tbsp.
- Franks buffalo Sauce- 1 1/2 cups
- Mozzarella cheese shredded- 1 cup
- Pulled Chicken or rotisserie chicken- 2 1/2 lb.
- Green onion chopped- 1/2 cup
Directions: Heat oil onion celery peppers garlic cumin chili powder and oregano. Sautee for 3 minutes on high heat. Do not burn. Add flour and mix well. Bring heat to medium, add water and stir well. When mixture has thickened add all other ingredients and keep stirring. Simmer for 45 minutes on low heat.
